I agree that it is difficult when people start talking about the end of civilization. That does tend to take all the oxygen out of the room. I think there's a big difference between what should be an academic conversation and what should be a government and regulatory conversation. It shouldn't be one conversation and trying to crowd it out is foolish, he says.
