Is My Body Overtraining?

For someone to senselessly say that X number of sets, let's say five sets per body part or 20 sets per body parts is overtraining. It's absolutely just ignorant. And so why don't we then take the view of, well, what am I capable of recovering from? And so we don't know that, right? Most people are not experiencing overtraining due to too much training. They're likely in my experience, experience overtrained due to poor recovery or poor selection of the type of training they're doing.
