"Inflation is a tax on middle income people. The lower your income, the more the inflation ax burdens you," he says. "It doesn't matter what gender or ethnicity of these f o m c members are getting good monetary policy for everybody all at once." He adds that if we demand more competent people on the fed who will actually understand inflation and do the right thing, they'll be able to fight it.
