London is steadily consuming the southeast, its population continues to grow. The government very rationally thinks how do we support that amount of people? We can't physically fit a people into the current public transport system in london. Having regular trains on th service would incentivs employers to to remain in the north or to relocate. And secondly, for people to more easily, more easily commute, and therefore to stay up north, rather than coming down to the capital. But the problem is that that's a theory. The reality of london getting bigger and, you know, people being runned on to trains is, i think, too stark at the minute for for people in whitehall
