Urban Sprawling in Africa
Urban sprawl could in some ways be seen as embodying the opposite of abunto isolated buildings leading to increasingly isolated ways of living. In evolutionary biology, for example, organisms combine to evolve into new, more complex ones. And there is an interesting question of how we might start to shape our cities so that we actually foster that mutualistic behavior and it starts to become a self reinforcing positive cycle.
