Is There a Lot in the Fine Print There?
The Great Outdoors Act was supported by a lot of hunters and fishermen. Half of the funds that give 900 million annually now permanently every year, half of which have to be used for federal land acquisitions. So where the federal government goes in and buys it more private to property and puts it on the federal land balance sheet. And so when that act was passed, the Congress gave the Secretary of the Interior the authority to set the policies on how that land would be executed.
