Pope Francis's Distinction Between Proselytism and Evangelization Is a Misrepresentation

In Evangeli Gaudium, Pope Francis is simply quoting Romans 1129. He says the Jewish people stand in a special relationship to the church that other non-Christians like Muslims do not have. But diamond does not cite any pre-Vatican II source that says God's covenant with the Jewish people has been revoked. Diamond: The pope approves and exhorts us to evangelization to help the church grow by attraction.
