The Importance of Dialogue in Philosophy

The preeminent... that the father of political philosophy did not write in a straightforward way with which we've been accustomed now for such a long time. He wrote in a dialogue form. That's very peculiar to speak or even think about philosophy being carried on through and carried forth through this medium. So, I think about why he wrote in this particular way with dialogues. There are a lot of reasons why.
