Hadrata and the Norse King - The Battle of Stamford
The norse king ordered three fast riders to head straight for the ships. Hadrata would stand and hold the english back bridgeand he would make them pay for every inch with blood until those reinforcements arrived. Tostig, realizing that they weren't going to retreat, clarified that actually he didn't want to run away. He was just giving advice on what hadrata and his men might have wanted to do.
