The Analogue of Haunting to Spiritual Warfare
So at times it seems like you prefer the analogy of haunting to genealogy. And what that means is so if there's the question, how could an early Christian heresy like Valentinianism somehow be with us today? If it died out in any actual form more than a thousand years ago, the answer would be that it remains in the world as a ghost. This seems to me then a major departure from analogies of genealogy and potentially a really good one because first it detaches ideas and culture from the logic of transmission and development. So whatever sort of my use of haunting is going to be, I don't think it's going to displace genealogies within the proper way
