The Role of Kinship in Human Society
Kinship is kind of an organizing principle. This is something that ancient DNA allows us to get at as actual biological relatedness between people. When we have a large enough sample, when we have a decent-sized cemetery, we can start to look at the structure principles within prehistoric societies. And with the CommiOS project, we are really starting to try and interrogate that now within Arab-Nage Britain.
