Is There a Rearrangement of Global Supply Chains?

China has rapidly increased its purchase of both russian crud oil and russian natural gas. Same with india. What it appears to be doing is turning european energy policy on its head. The question will be, what how china behaves going forward. Are they going to go along with buying more stuff from russia? Or are they going to try to avoid that and try to increase their role as a global economic power?
