3D is reaching a point where it's almost breaking off into its own industry with sub industries within it. There's archviz, there's gaming, there's VFX. There's scientific visualization and AR VR. You should be able to create an environment that has realistic, nice looking ground which renders well. And then with your lighting, you should be can make an interesting, an interesting environment.
