The Impact of Law on My Family

At the age of 18, I took it upon myself that I wanted to run from this state system. My heart said on the idea of I want to study law to understand this system better than the person who decided to remove me. And you'll find with a lot of blackfellas when we do these things, the goal is always to free our other people. So I'm so privileged to be in the position that I'm in right now where I've completed law and social work. I'm currently doing my PhD in human rights and abolition. And I'm currently working towards building up programs and support for our children, young people so that we can really reimagine that better world.
