The 2 to 3 DTE Strategy Worked Well, Right?
Last year, I was doing the 2 to 3 DTE and the 45 DTE strategy combined as a hybrid strategy. The logic was that when IV is high, you're going to expect the volatility crush so you can take advantage by selling further out and selling it 45 DTE. But honestly, for me, in the back of my mind, sometimes there was still just like, oh man, I knew that even the 2 to three DTE strategy would have worked so well in that high IV environment.
