Is the British Council in Chinese Universities?
At the moment, you've got CIs funded by the British government to provide Mandarin teaching. What we should be doing is concentrating much more on the idea of reciprocity and insisting that the way the CIs operate in the UK is the way the British Council operates in China. So let us impose those conditions. And if the CIs wish to continue, that's fine. It's possible even that they may still have offices in universities by renting the space, but not being given it. I'm not explicitly said that, but do you think that is? I think it's highly likely.
