Is the Competition Act Really Anti-Competitive?
Some companies in price fixing cases like this are immunized against prosecution. There were some criticism at the time when La Bla and Western food were given immunity basically for coming forward on this. That's been a system used around the world. And it's based on game theory that if these systems exist where somebody can come in and tell the government about what's been going on, then it can destabilize these cartels or these conspiracies.
