Mabel's watch stopped at 9.55 p.m., which is what we presume would be her time of death. Vachimal swabs was pretty commonplace, actually in America in the 1920s. So they would have been able to recognize whether she had been sexually assaulted. But there were no signs of a sexual assault to them.
