Is There a Gift in Listening for It?
Sratic attention is the ability to listen for an answer to your own questions. The more you do that, the better you get at it - and i would like this gift for myself. If professors should be training in this art as for the teaching part of their jobso how they go about doing so? I definitely think you can get better at it. It's a natural talent or inclination. Or maybe a certain world view is required in order to even have this reputation.
