Triple J listeners define what era of life they are by who was doing the breakfast show on the particular Triple J. So how does that come about? We texted randomly and said, hey, like, could you get us Ollie Ward's email, who was the boss at Triple J at the time. He literally did tell us that we wouldn't work there, which is fine. But I remember when we were leaving the building, it like popped up like Ollie, like the boss at the station has liked your Facebook page. "We're two straight white guys. And yeah, we get that like that's not, and representation is important"
