The Effects of Volume on Hyper-Achievement
Many people are going to achieve hyper-achieve over a course of a week with a couple of workouts with one set to failure, even if they are solid intermediates. Now, can we increase that by doing a couple more sets per workout? Absolutely. But then if we're starting lots more sets, we're going to probably see a plateau and then perhaps potentially decline. And after that level, we're not seeing any further increases. That's what we're describing.
