We're now within 150 years of jesus. Jesus himself celebrated the hanika festival in john chapter ten, we read then came the festival of dedication, hannaka. And from one forty two b c, there is something akin to a jewish kingdom w simon establishes this new dynasty. The question is, is this the way judaism should be? Because if you believe the prophetic traditions, israel needs to be a divitic kingdom run by a divitic king who is an actual divitic descendant,. not run by a high priest.
