Getting Motivated by Carrying Out the Intermediary Steps Well

Sometimes people have a very ambitious idea that they're trying to achieve. But you don't think about, okay, so what are the intermediary states together? And what is the skill set that's required to get to those intermediary states? So then when you decompose that, or you just don't let me realize that, I'm not trying to go to the moon or Mars or whatever. I'm first trying to build the set of skill sets that help me write well, communicate well, manage the team, stuff like that.
