The former bishop, Athalwina, had finally hired a ship, and he was headed to Cologne. He got blown off course and ended up in Scotland instead. The Athling's sister, Princess Margaret, who was now Queen Margaret of Scotland, were told that under her influence, Malcolm stopped being so barbaric. Eustace was restored to all of his old English lands after the failed rebellion.
