The Challenge in Science

I have had the experience of a work that i've been doing being attributed to another person in the group. I think this is quite a common experience for many scientists, but perhaps women more than men. The typical principal investigator doesn't know how to manage teams and doesn't really know to listen. And there aren't any rules of the road. So what we're trying to flag here is a lot of good ideas and a lot of talent is getting shut down. It's likely that junior researchers who are women, or who are mino ties are going to leave science. We want the best minds and the best people to be thinking about very hard problems.
