Trey Parker and Matt Stone asked Comedy Central for a 50% stake in all online rights to the show. They created a website called South Park Studios where they were post putting up episodes. That extended so that any time South Park got licensed to a streaming service, it was Hulu or HBO Max. "They just from licensing deals for South Park have made something like $500 million over the last decade"
