Bob Greene: I was determined to try to challenge the hegemony of Howard Zinn's anti-American book on American history called People's History of the United States. We publish this because Yale wouldn't do it or they wouldn'tdo it the way that Tom wanted to be done, he says. And we've also published teachers, you know, guides and young, a young person's edition, all sorts of things. He says his area of emphasis is trying to take back the education in this country. "We haven't quite displaced Howard Zinn yet, but that is the ultimate goal"
