I think that when I was a child and really consistently throughout my life, what I most wanted to do is write a book. And I hadn't done it and I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact that my life didn't have space for it. So getting to write that book was kind of the biggest thing I've ever done for my younger self and my current self. But just that idea of honoring what it is you would have done if left your own devices has always been an important part of who I am.
