The Legend of Okeechi's Death

Okeechi died by suicide in 1892 at the age of 51 by drowning herself near Shimoda. A local priest took pity on her because no one claimed her body initially. And after two days, he just couldn't take it and found a place for her to be buried. But according to historians, a lot of the details of that story are not true at all.
