A lot of students just kind of approach the class, they read the text. They're not actually thinking about how they're doing it. So i really push s c four r as an active reading method in all my classes. And there are large numbers of students who've never heard of it. It's no longer just you giving them something. Now they start to own that they are part of this process of their own learning.
