We need to balance different considerations, but we also need to prioritize. It's very easy to tend towards too much imbalance or focus on one thing. People either treat causation as a very fixed one to one thing and they will treat everything as connected in a way where no causal patterns can be made. That is useless. If you go too far the other direction then you become incapable of seeing anything that's larger.
