The Importance of Saying Thank You to AI
This article did make me think should we be saying thank you to Surrey and Alexis when they do stuff for us. A rattling off commands to an AI and then just expecting it to be done can make it harder to deal with humans, he says. So okay and how much are we giving up for just the smallest amount of convenience is another thought because how hard is it to order my coffee online or to type in someone's name to find their phone number? What am I giving Apple so that they can do this very little thing for me? And that perhaps is something to think about.
