The CIA Covert Operation Outer Islands Rebellion
The tanky meme has its origins in the 50s and relates to that Hungary uprising, where they sent in the tanks. This is another case where it's a CIA covert operation to back these elements in in Hungary. Frank Wiesner felt that he was really racked with guilt after the CIA and the US did not intervene in this country which would have meant World War three. The second biggest CIA operation, the one in Indonesia byFrank Wiesner, had, you know, been behind the Hungary uprising, which later gave rise to the tanky meme when the Soviets intervened to predictably crush it.
