The Free Writer Problem
Many people say their individual vote won't actually make any difference to the outcome of the election. Is that a classic free writer problem? Well, you are absolutely right that it's been treated as a classic free writing problem. I think one has to take seriously the fact that there are indeed vaguely specified states or vaguely specified goals which are going to be tolerant with respect to the individual contributions. Not the case for voting because after one of the familiar facts about at least standard majoritarian voting systems,. Anglo-American voting system, is there actually is a determinate threshold?
