Auto Loans Are a Profit Center for Dealers
The average markup on an auto loan that you get if you're a black customer is $349. The easy way to sort of eliminate this racial discrimination would be to end markups on auto loans that are at the discretion of the dealer. But we're not doing that right now, so there's a persistent discrimination problem.
