And it's very unlikely that the people who need it the most would even be able to do it because of that lack of increase in energy expenditure during overfeeding. Some people experience large increases in energy expenditure, and they very strongly resist fat gain. On the other hand, a lot of individuals experience minimal change in energy expenditure,. and they very readily and rapidly gain fat.
