The Concept of Harmony in Confucian Ethics
Harmony is not about eliminating difference. Is about actually having productive difference. The concept of harmony, properly understood in the confucian tradition, is not about sameness at all. It's aboutth all the parts working together in a way which creates this over all harmony.
