The last episode is largely set on the day of the band's final performance where they fall apart. The book has so much about the creative push pull of the band, just really getting into the nitty gritty of how songs are written and disagreements between different members of the group. And the show drops almost all of that out. There's very there definitely have been second generation music stars but more often than not, you get somebody like Frank Sinatra, Jr. They just it's too high a bar to clear to be worth trying.
