I think it's a very reasonable and rational thing for people to be pissed off about inflation, but then the opposition have no alternative cost of living policies yet. Their policies are to argue somehow that the capital and electricity prices has made the crisis worse because the marginal gas project in three years' time won't happen. The other factor, of course, is we're deep in winter, and incumbents never do well in winter. Winter is a really hard time politically because it's not the best time of year.
