Is It Transgressive?
It benefits enormously, as all these buildings do, from a this sort of strong, high directional sunlight that you get. And the material, which is this lovely stone. It doesn't feel at all weird, until you start looking at it,. You think, this is too yes, a bit, that does seem. Well, fundamentally, the whole project of class like classicism, is very perverse. But once you've cmmitted to it, this is a very coherent way of doing it - especially in that kind of mannerist incarnation.
