Anikin is not visible in the sequels at all. The edroid dent definitely ended up getting, i think, the least amount of screen time that any other star was movie. It's really bizarre how that is the case. Maybe they just trying to distance themselves, rume, from george. They could feel like it was their idea. But, ye, it just doesn't work, no. Yeh, it does. Shame on them.
