I don't think it's actually that the game itself has changed that much, that chunk of the game. You do still have to grind a fair amount to like, upgrade your power and whatever. But i think what's clicking with me differently this time is the world feels much gur you. There's like a land above you, below you, on the far opposite end of where you start. That creates some mystery a and i felt like i was kind of learning the mechanics of the game while also upgrading those points. So it felt a little less a punishment, like w no, like work right? Yes.
This week, The Resties revisit Rogue Legacy 2 after nearly two years in Early Access. The developer made great use of that time, delivering a worthy sequel to the original hit. In the second half, it's time to set goals for our summer gaming backlog. Discussed: Persona 4, Patrick’s Parabox, Perfect Tides, Outer Wilds, Unsighted, Fortnite, Halo Infinite, Dark Souls 2, and Uncharted Lost Legacy. Plus, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War (on Hulu and Crunchyroll) and Atlanta (on Hulu).
