The Cleaning Staff in a Long Term Rehabilitation Floor

Some of the people who found their work especially difficult were in fact, doing work that might be argued to be against the rules. The cleaning staff members we studied had developed systems of figuring out when was it safe to do these things. One woman described taking down framed art prints from patient rooms and rearranging them on a regular basis. She said she didn't see this as part of her job description which was quite striking.
