The Importance of First Nations Languages in Australia
I would like to think that our migrant communities who speak languages other than English are also seen as having a right to those languages, but unfortunately the ideologies get in the way. And so therefore always communicate in their chosen language other than English if we're talking about an English language courtroom. But I will say that one of the reasons why we've been able to do so much work on this in Australia with the cooperation of many institutions across the justice system or the legal system is because it doesn't always deal out justice,. does it?
