Zod is a validation library that lets you define your data and then infer the type script types from it. It matches one-to-one exactly how you think about TypeScript types when you're developing your schemas for the data that you're working with. ZOD uses MongoDB as its validator, so our database will be able to add new additions if they don't fit into their existing model.
