Fino is trying to imagine crafting a space for possibility in the face of these efforts to monopolize recognition, to monopolize humanity. Fina wants to oppose that, not by just embracing it or being being a part of it. He thinks that in order for racism to be combated, it demands both an engagement with the social factors and creating this new future.
