What Is the Difference Between Baptism and the Book of Acts?

The book of acts is a little difficult, i think, when we try to make it a paradime for how exactly the church works to day. I would have no problem saying that that happens and in many instances. But i also would say that there is still something occurring when you are baptized. At doesn't mean baptism is just a symbol, but baptism is another means by which god continues that work of salvation and continues to forgive you. So if if you do believe, then the spirit's already worked. So regardless of whether you been baptized or not, thespirit's already at work.
