Sutcliffe and the Yorkshire Ripper
The judge gave Sutcliffe 20 life sentences, and recommended a period of 30 years before he could be given parole. The Bifid Report was completed by Lawrence Bifid in 1980 after Margaret Thatcher threatened to take over the investigation and solve it herself. It's believed Sutcliffe could be responsible for as many as 13 other attacks for which is not yet been charged. Recent media reports state police are now currently considering whether to add further charges. They have obtained fresh DNA evidence and have taken new victim statements leading people to believe further charges could be late soon.
