Some liberals still, it seems, haven't caught up with that reality yet. They felt if they just pointed out every time that he lied, eventually his supporters would somehow wake up to the truth and leave their support of the president. When the very opposite was actually true. The more these figures actually attacked trump, the stronger and the more appealing he became to a lot of supporters.
