The Importance of Overload in Elite Training

This is a follow up to what we talked about last week. I think pairing recovery and rest and adaptation with overload blocks is the best way to stay away from that non-functional overreaching output. We like to pulse these in instead of traditional down weeks often, where we don't necessarily reduce volume a fuck ton because an athlete shouldn't need that.
